The adventures of Pitje and his friends are put to paper by Hans Zeeuwe, living in the Netherlands. Nobody knows where he is getting his information from and there is rumour that he is making it all up. Others say that he is closely related to Pitje and that they have spend quite some time together over the years. There is no evidence for either theory and most think that the truth will never be revealed.
